I joined Mullis & Peake in 2006, initially as a paralegal dealing with plot-sales and commercial property. During my time in the Commercial Department I assisted with the alcohol and gambling licensing and especially enjoyed working during the transition period for the Gambling Act 2005.
I became a Trainee Solicitor in June 2007, becoming the firm’s first part-time study trainee, which allowed me to complete my Legal Practice Course part-time in the evenings. I qualified in 2009 and joined the Residential Property Department. I now handle not only residential sales and purchases but also specialise in Leasehold Reform, handling enfranchisement, right-to-manage and lease extension claims. I have also retained the alcohol licensing and gambling matters.
Away from work I enjoy spending time at my allotment and I am the secretary of the Collier Row Horticultural and Allotment Association.
