On the 5th June 2010 Ashley Avis, Helen Beach, Sarah Beney, Genevieve Gallagher, Debbie Latham, Holly Nichols, Jade Oxley, Denise Shelton and Amanda White from Mullis & Peake LLP will be taking part in the 2010 LawNet Challenge – Helvellyn via Striding Edge - raising money for Helen Rollason Cancer Charity.

Striding Edge is the famous and renowned ridge that flanks the south eastern passage to Helvellyn, the third highest peak in England standing at 950m.

The brave nine will be undertaking a circular route starting and finishing from the Glanrissing hostel. The challenge will take in sites such as “Hole in the Wall”, Striding Edge, Helvellyn, Swirral Edge and Red Tarn to name but a few. The route is 13.5km over a variety of terrains, the most demanding being the mountainous climb and the test of nerves along Striding Edge.
