Great to see lots of Above and Beyond recipients this month
Paras Mercioniu
I am proud to announce that this month Paras has been recognised by the Members for going Above and Beyond.
Paras is a paralegal in the property department who not only runs her own probate sale files but also provides daily support and assistance to the conveyancers within the team. In addition to this Paras is studying to qualify as a Licensed Conveyancer in what little spare time she has after work and family responsibilities.
We are currently in the midst of holiday season and despite all of her ongoing obligations Paras, as our former completions manager, has recently stepped up to assist the team with the preparation of files for completion as well as covering colleagues work in their absence from the office – even travelling between the offices of Romford and Shenfield to do so.
If this were not enough Paras has also offered her services to assist with the training and support of new team members which will again, result in her having to travel between the offices.
Thank you Paras – you are a star!

Jade Oxley, Diane Gardner and Nick Sims
I would like to thank Diane, Nick and Jade for their particular help in preparing for our Lexcel Re-accreditation remote assessment, held on 14 -15 July.
There is a three-month lead in period to this audit. The preparation work is significant and time consuming and must be completed within a tight timeframe. The fact that this was a remote assessment greatly increased the volume of materials that had to be shared electronically and I simply could not do this without help. Matters arise during the audit and we were able to adapt some procedures to demonstrate many areas of good practice.
These assessments are a significant logistical exercise and thank you, Nick, Jade and Diane, for all your help.
