Charity Race Night 2024
Mullis & Peake LLP Solicitors were excited to sponsor and attend a charity Race night on Friday 18th October at Warley Park Golf Club in Brentwood. Organised by Phoenix FM, the Race night was in aid of our charity of the year, the Marillac Neurological Care Centre.
The team enjoyed a curry tea whilst they bet on various horses in the attempt to win some cold hard cash. There were eight races in all, with Joanne Wood doing particularly well and we did win a bottle of wine when one of the Mullis & Peake horses won a race. The charity raised £7,222 on the night, which is fantastic.
After six races there was an auction with some lovely prizes up for grabs, including a weeks stay in a cottage in Yorkshire, a West Ham shirt signed by Bowen and a tarot card reading. Mullis & Peake contributed a hamper to the auction.
It was great to catch up with other members of the Brentwood and Shenfield community and it was overall a really fun evening. Thank you to the other sponsors and Steve at Phoenix FM radio station for his hard work organising the event.
