Congratulations to Anne Wijayarathne
Mullis & Peake LLP Solicitors are delighted to report that Anne Wijayarathne has completed her training contract on the 1st April.
Anne started her Training Contract with the firm in October 2020 and will be joining our Wills and Probate team, working in both our Shenfield and Romford offices.
Anne has experience in drafting Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney. She also deals with the full administration of estates and obtaining Grants of Probate (where a person dies leaving a will) and Letters of Administration (where a person dies without a will).
Manzurul Islam, Head of Wills and Probate, said: “Anne started life at Mullis & Peake as a Wills & LPA paralegal and quickly established herself as an invaluable member of the team. She initially juggled her job with part-time studying whilst she completed her Legal Practice Course. Despite these challenges, she took to the new role well and impressed with her hard-work, determination and client service. This led to the reward of a training contract, where Ann was able to showcase her skills in other departments.
It has been a pleasure to see Anne grow and evolve as a well-rounded lawyer. The offer of a role on qualification is the result of the hard work she has put in in the preceding three years and is well-deserved.
