Quality Standard CQS Recognised
Mullis & Peake LLP are delighted to have, once again, secured membership to the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) – the recognised quality standard for residential conveyancing practices.
We were first accredited to the scheme on its introduction over 12 years ago and have maintained CQS accreditation ever since.
In order to achieve CQS status firms must undergo a rigorous screening process by the Law Society which ensures the firm meets the high standards necessary and have the requisite expertise to deliver quality residential conveyancing advice and use uniform processes to manage and reduce risks.
The scheme requires firms to undergo a strict assessment, ongoing compulsory training, self-reporting, random audits and annual reviews in order to maintain CQS accredited status. Accreditation is open only to members of the Law Society who meet the demanding standards set by the scheme and has the support of the Council of Mortgage Lenders, the Building Societies Association, Legal Ombudsman and the Association of British Insurers.
Joanne Wood, Head of Property, said: “We are delighted to have maintained our CQS accredited status. The accreditation is testament to the experienced, hardworking and dedicated team we have here at Mullis & Peake LLP. Property transactions including sales and purchases can be very stressful. By choosing a CQS firm, like ours, you are assured of a firm that has the recognised and tested stamp of quality and who have the client at the heart of everything they do.”
