Chamber President, Mark Bass, said:
“I am delighted to announce the Barking and Dagenham Chamber of Commerce Business Awards 2015 are open for entry. Entering is an excellent way to promote your business and gain recognition for your achievements. The Barking and Dagenham Chamber of Commerce Business Awards are a wonderful platform for celebrating and generating business success.”
“There are twelve categories of awards that can be won, and whilst there is a focus on businesses located in Barking and Dagenham, there is also a category for those businesses based outside our area which are doing significant business in Barking and Dagenham. There are plenty of opportunities for entry and is free for all businesses.”
Martyn Trenerry of Romford based Solicitors Mullis and Peake LLP said:
“We are very pleased to be sponsoring these awards which recognise local business excellence. Although we were keen to be involved, we had initially been apprehensive that the categories were only open to businesses located within Barking and Dagenham. There are so many businesses that trade with Barking and Dagenham located close by that we felt might wish to enter, including almost half of the members of the Chamber itself, which is why a new category was created.”
“We are sponsoring ‘Trading with Barking and Dagenham’ category which is open to entrants in the surrounding areas and recognises businesses that trade inside of Barking and Dagenham. Businesses that enter this new category should be able to demonstrate a history of trading with Barking and Dagenham.”
“Winning this category would be a great promotional opportunity for businesses that are planning on growing their business with this area in the future.”
The closing date for entries is 5.00 pm on Friday, 5 June, 2015. The three finalists in each category will each receive two complimentary invitations to attend the Barking and Dagenham Chamber of Commerce Business Awards 2015 Black Tie Dinner and Awards Ceremony.
