Charanjit joined Mullis and Peake as an Associate Solicitor in the private client team specialising in Court of Protection work, dealing with the property and financial affairs of people who have lost capacity.
Charanjit has also practiced Court of Protection at a leading London Human Rights firm, particularly in Health and Welfare matters, where she has represented both the individual who is subject to the proceedings and their family members in complex matters relating to issues such as deprivation of liberty, residence and care packages.
Having qualified nine years ago from a leading London law firm, where she specialised in Mental Health and Community Care, she has invaluable experience of successfully dealing with vulnerable people and challenging individuals. She has dealt with cases involving adults and children using her specialist knowledge of the legislation to navigate these cases.
Having graduated from Queen Mary’s and Westfield’s university,  she is an accredited Mental Health panel member.  Her clients say that she is approachable, considerate and empathetic whilst maintaining a fully professional stance.
Outside of work
In her spare time, Charanjit enjoys going to the gym and spending time with her family and friends.
