The Marillac Neurological Care Centre Volunteering Day
On 21 November, a group of M&P Ambassadors visited the Marillac Neurological Care Centre for another volunteering day.
This time, we helped get the Centre ready for Christmas by putting up decorations across the different wards and setting up several Christmas trees.
Everyone came dressed in Christmas jumpers, which added to the festive mood. We spent the day hanging lights, arranging ornaments, and making sure each area looked warm and cheerful for the residents. There were some very big Christmas trees to decorate as well including several 12-foot ones. We also helped prep items for the raffle including 100 chocolate treats – yes, they all made it to the raffle!
There was plenty of laughter, teamwork, and of course, a fair amount of glitter.
We were also treated to mince pies and other Christmas snacks, which were very much appreciated after a busy morning of decorating.
Thank you to everyone who took part and helped bring some early Christmas cheer to the Centre. Your time and effort made a real difference.
