Established in 1902 as a family business, Mullis & Peake has been built on decades of close customer relations and is proud that generations of families continue to use our services.

In December 2015 we opened a second office in Shenfield, Essex to reflect the continued growth of the firm and in February 2018 acquired a local competitor in Romford.  The firm has grown in headcount by around 40% since 2015, reflecting its continued success and expansion.

Dispute Resolution Lawyer Required

We are recruiting for a talented, ambitious, and highly motivated paralegal, legal executive or solicitor to join our expanding Dispute Resolution team at our Romford office. Residential Property Solicitor

Mullis & Peake LLP is seeking to recruit a residential property solicitor to its award-winning team.

The successful applicant should be an experienced conveyancer used to building and managing their own caseload and should be familiar with all aspects of residential property work to include dealing with sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold title, re-mortgages, new builds, transfers of equity and it would be beneficial to have had experience of dealing with equity release mortgages although not essential.

Mullis & Peake LLP have an excellent case management system and are paper light.

The successful applicant will need to have good communication skills and be able to report to clients and lenders and to build up good relationships with local agents and mortgage brokers.

Administration Assistant

We have a vacancy for an administration assistant to join our Admin Team. The role is based in Romford but you could be asked to work from one of our other offices from time to time.

The main duties of this role are:

  • Scanning incoming post
  • Franking outgoing mail
  • Reception/Switchboard duties
  • Assisting with photocopying/printing
  • Assisting with the storage of deeds, documents and files and maintenance of records
  • Assist in organising regular maintenance of office equipment and fault reporting
  • Ordering stationery
  • Assist with the preparation for meetings with paperwork and electronically
  • Organising refreshments for meetings
  • Assisting with other admin and facilities tasks around the office
