Get to know Manzurul
Having historically specialised in Disputed Wills, Contentious Probate and Financial Abuse matters, Manzurul has transitioned towards more focussed estate planning and leads the firm’s Wills & Probate department.
Manzurul graduated from the University of Kent with a Bachelor’s Degree in Law, and went on to complete his legal qualifications by obtaining his Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the University of Law. He joined Mullis & Peake in May 2012, leaving his position as solicitor and partner at a firm in Kent.
During his time at the firm, Manzurul has built up a strong reputation and is recognised in the Legal 500 Directory as a leading lawyer.
“One of Manzurul Islam’s key strengths is that he really understands people and business, rather than just the law; he definitely gets it, and is a real asset to the firm.”
Outside of work
Manzurul is a keen football fan, both playing and watching as often as he can, although this is becoming less frequent as his family grows. He also volunteers for charity and community projects, holding the role of a patron for a private boarding school based in the West Midlands and a member of the development committee of Havering Islamic Cultural Centre.
