Unmarried cohabiting parents to benefit from bereavement benefits

On the one hand, mourning the loss of a loved one is a sensitive time but unfortunately for many, it can also result in concerns as to how they will continue to manage their day-to-day expenses.

Given the current cost of living, it has made it increasingly difficult for many to balance expenses. However, as of 9^th February 2023, the Government has extended the assistance it’s offering in relation to Bereavement Support Payments and Widowed Parent’s Allowance.
