Joining Mullis & Peake in 2007, Jenny was appointed as a Paralegal in 2015 and works as part of our Family and Divorce Law team.
A little about Jenny
Jenny joined Mullis & Peake LLP in 2007 and completed her ILEX Legal Secretary course in 2011. Jenny worked for some time in the Litigation Department before becoming a Paralegal in 2015 in the Family Department. She is now an Associate.
Jenny provides valuable assistance to the team in helping with the running of files and dealing with new enquiries. Jenny also has her own caseload dealing with divorce and financial matters and cases involving the welfare of children. Jenny deals with the preparation of Change of Name Deeds and assists with the administration for our mediation clients.
Outside of Work
Jenny enjoys spending time with her two young children and meeting up with friends and family.

When can you annul a marriage?
In the UK, you can apply for an annulment at any time after your marriage, even on the same day you get married, but you must provide specific grounds to show the marriage was never valid (void) or was flawed from the start (voidable).

What is the express financial remedy pilot?
From April 2025, the express financial remedy pilot will be introduced. It aims to reduce the time taken to resolve contested financial remedy cases where the parties’ total combined net assets are estimated to be £250,000 or less, by introducing a two-hearing process, rather than the standard three-hearing process, to resolve these cases.
