Riyad Islam

Riyad joined Mullis & Peake in July 2024 through the Graduate Solicitor Apprentice scheme. His final seat is in the Commercial department where he will be assisting on a variety of real estate and corporate transactions.

Prior to joining Mullis & Peake, Riyad worked at a London law firm where he had the opportunity to lead a business development team. He was fortunate to garner invaluable experience through supporting the lawyers in the firm’s Real Estate, Corporate and Litigation departments.

He graduated from City, University of London with a specialism in commercial law. Riyad has passed the first part of the Solicitor’s Qualifying Exams (SQE) and will be sitting the final segments of the exam in October 2026.

Outside of Work

Having read Classics at A Level, Riyad has developed a keen interest in ancient history and architecture. He enjoys reading classical literature, visiting museums, and travelling. He has visited over 30 countries and hopes to further explore new regions and cultures.
