The weather was on our side, the crowds were out in force, and we were busy from start to finish. Thousands of people attended the event, and it was wonderful to be part of such a vibrant community day.
Our stall was packed with activities including planting, crafts, a lucky dip and plenty of merchandise. We welcomed lots of children and families throughout the day, and it was great to see so many smiling faces getting involved.
This year we were also proud to sponsor the event’s photobooth – a Mini Cooper painted in the UK flag design. It was a real crowd-pleaser and attracted lots of visitors looking to capture a fun memory from the day.
Our stall certainly stood out too! We decorated it with plenty of strawberries, and our famous disco strawberry stole the show, catching everyone’s eye and becoming a talking point throughout the day.
A huge thank you goes to Holly Minney, our amazing “van man”, who helped transport the gazebo and all the equipment needed to set up the stall. Holly’s husband and daughters also lent a hand, and we really appreciate all their support.
We would also like to thank Jessica Thrower, Jaspreet Burrha, Joanne Wood and Esther Marshall, who helped run the stall and kept everything running smoothly despite the constant stream of visitors.
