William works within our Dispute Resolution department and joined Mullis & Peake in 2023. Since then, he has established himself as an exceptional lawyer and one of the firm’s most promising future leaders.
William’s commitment to client service is a defining feature of his practice. Clients consistently commend his thoroughness, empathy and responsiveness, as well as his ability to explain complex legal issues in a clear and reassuring way.
Alongside his work with clients, William has made a substantial contribution to the continued growth and development of both the Dispute Resolution team and the wider firm.
He demonstrates leadership well beyond what would normally be expected at his stage of career. Junior members of the team regard William as someone they can readily approach for practical assistance, technical guidance and direction, while his professionalism and willingness to support colleagues have made him a highly valued member of the department.
“William being shortlisted for the LawNet Rising Star Award is a fantastic and well-deserved recognition of the contribution he has made to the firm. His commitment to delivering an excellent service to our clients, alongside his enthusiasm, professionalism and continued development, really sets him apart. We’re incredibly proud to see his hard work recognised at a national level and wish him every success at the awards.”
Mullis & Peake’s Marketing Team may be deliberately small, but its impact reaches across the entire firm.
Over the past year, the team has continued to develop the firm’s marketing into a more commercially accountable function, sharpening our search visibility, turning paid campaigns into valuable new work and improving how the firm tracks where enquiries and instructions originate.
The team has also helped create a closer relationship between marketing and our fee earners, translating specialist legal expertise into useful and accessible content for clients while strengthening Mullis & Peake’s visibility in an increasingly competitive legal market.
New processes have helped the firm follow enquiries beyond the initial click or contact, providing greater insight into the value of work generated through marketing activity and helping connect marketing investment more directly with commercial outcomes.
Alongside its digital work, the team continues to support departments across the firm with campaigns, events, content, sponsorships, community initiatives and wider business development activity.
“This is a huge achievement and a wonderful recognition of the impact the Marketing team have across the firm. Their creativity, dedication and drive are reflected in everything they do, and they continually go above and beyond to support our people, strengthen the Mullis & Peake brand and help move the firm forward. To see their hard work recognised at this level is something we are incredibly proud of, and being shortlisted is so well deserved.”
We are incredibly proud of both William and the Marketing Team for this recognition.
We wish them the very best of luck at the LawNet Awards 2026 and look forward to celebrating their achievements.
