Spreading Christmas Cheer with the Salvation Army
This year, Mullis & Peake LLP were delighted to support the Salvation Army’s Christmas efforts with a £350 donation.
Our contribution helped provide festive treats like biscuits, chocolates and other goodies which the Salvation Army team distributed to families across Havering.
Their volunteers have been working incredibly hard to make sure local families feel the spirit of the season, from sorting toy parcels to preparing Christmas celebrations for those who need a little extra support.
We’re proud to play a small part in helping the community enjoy the festive period, and we’re grateful for the ongoing dedication of the Salvation Army team.
Lieutenant Lizzy Kitchenside, from the Harold Hill Salvation Army, said:
“We have been blessed this year with such generosity from our community. So far, we have been able to support over 330 local children and their families with toys, gifts, and food this Christmas, and in the coming days, this number will increase.
Next week we look forward to welcoming 40 guests, who would otherwise be alone, to share a Christmas meal together. There will be lots of great food, entertainment, and conversation.
