What to do if an employee brings a claim for unfair dismissal and sex discrimination against your company

Company X had dismissed an employee on grounds of conduct (you can dismiss an employee if they’re incapable of doing their job to the required standard; they’re capable, but unwilling to do their job properly and/or they’ve committed some form of misconduct). The employee brought a claim for unfair dismissal and sex discrimination, alleging that the real reason for her dismissal was her pregnancy. We represented the Company throughout the proceedings and at the final hearing of the matter the Tribunal found in favour of our client.
