Langtons Summer Concert
The Langtons Summer Concert was a lovely, dignified affair with fantastic music, glasses of Prosecco and afternoon tea.
Andrew, Roisin and Kevin and Jo B were delighted to join West and Coe in their marquee where we were treated to Pimm’s, sandwiches and scrumptious cakes, whilst enjoying the sounds of the Westminster Philharmonic Orchestra, led by conductor Jonathan Butcher.
Set in the delightful grounds of Langton Gardens in Hornchurch, the orchestra played a selection of light classics flavoured with music in celebration of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, including a selection from My Fair Lady, Rule Britannia and Jerusalem.
It was fantastic to see the Havering Community out in force, with 2,000 tickets sold, meaning the event was a sell-out. A fun day and a big thank to West and Coe for their hospitality.
